STOP LE POISSON ROUGE ARRÊTE UN INCENDIE!

« Les pompiers m’ont dit qu’ils n’avaient jamais vu ça. » Eliane n’est pas près d’oublier l’incendie qui a frappé son appartement de Pontarlier (Doubs) mardi 10 novembre. « Pffff, moi, ça m’a coupé les jambes toute la journée. C’est quand même une drôle d’histoire, non ? », confie-t-elle à L’Est républicain.

Difficile de lui donner tort. Tout commence mardi midi. Alors que la retraitée s’est absentée, la table en osier installée dans son salon commence à chauffer dangereusement sous l’effet conjugué du soleil, de la fenêtre et du bocal de Stop, son poisson rouge. Le meuble prend feu et le détecteur de fumée se déclenche.

« On n’a pas eu besoin de déployer des moyens hydrauliques »

Un voisin appelle les pompiers. Arrivés sur les lieux du sinistre, ils constatent que le travail est déjà fait. La chaleur a fait éclater le bocal de Stop, et l’eau du poisson rouge a éteint l’incendie.  »On n’a pas eu besoin de déployer de moyens hydrauliques », confirme à L’Est républicain le responsable des pompiers.

Pyromane, puis pompier, Stop a survécu à cette drôle d’histoire, contrairement à la table en osier. « Quand on est arrivés, il était dans une flaque d’eau toute noire, mais il a tenu bon, raconte Eliane, avant de conclure : Vindiou, ce poisson, c’est quand même un costaud. »

Hamster takes refuge in jam jar during earthquake
Pic shows: Hamster hides in glass bottle during earthquake in Japan.nnA canny hamster turned a glass bottle into his own personal doomsday shelter when an earthquake struck.nnA Twitter user identified as @mnt0217 was playing with her furry friend when tremors struck struck in Japan.nnAs she looked to stop falling books and tumbling furniture the hamster decided it was every creature for himself.nnHe then scampered off into the glass bottle which was the perfect size to protect himself from the earthquake Armagaddon.nnThe hamster's owner at first wasn't sure where the animal had gone to and when she then discovered it she first of all checked he was OK, and then took photos of him to share with friends on social media.nnThe hamster in the bottle seems as mysterious as sailing ship models. But apparently they are equipped with strong muscles which allow them to contract their body and squeeeeeeze into the smallest places.nn"What a good hamster! He¿s got a great awareness of disaster procedures," said one Twitter user.nn"Where can I buy a bottled hamster?" was another comment along with: "That would be a great way to carry them around."nnYet another added: "All animals get scared when there¿s an earthquake. My dog also finds a spot to hide in."nnAnd for those who worried he might have had trouble getting out, he did not, or at least not as soon as he was tempted by a tasty snack.nn(ends)nn

MIKE LE HAMSTER

Et oui c’est bien Mike le hamster qui reste à ce jour le meilleur ambassadeur du cocooning au monde.

Un adorable petit hamster japonais a conquis internet en mangeant une carotte… Prénommé Mike, ce petit rongeur avait fait le buzz il y a peu avec sa vidéo. Il faut dire que c’est très difficile de rester insensible à son charme lorsqu’on le regarde grignoter sa carotte, les yeux fixés sur la caméra. Allez, rien que pour le plaisir, on revoit sa vidéo!
